Camp Whitney 2011
Parents are welcome to attend any camp with (or without) their children.
There are many different volunteer positions available that will interest you. Please contact Mary Royal @ 780-853-4161 or me.royal@gmail.com to sign up for or learn more about the volunteer positions at Camp Whitney.
Arrival and Departure Information:
Registration Time:
4:00 to 5:00 pm on the first day
***No early arrivals, please***
Supervision cannot be provided for
your child until 4 pm of the first day.
Families are encouraged to stay for a weiner roast around the fire after registration.
Departure Time:
1:00 to 3:00 pm on the last day
**Please pick-up your children on time**

Camp Whitney Staff
Staff at Camp Whitney include a camp program co-ordinator, recreational co-ordinator (qualified lifeguard), camp cook, senior and junior counselors, activity leaders, a qualified first aid personnel, and a leader for Christian Education.
Scamper Camp
Ages 6 - 8

A great introduction to camp. Four days full of fun, new experiences, and campfires. They will leave with warm memories and treasured "crafts".
Primary Camp
Ages 7-9
July 3-8, 2011
Cost $200.00
This five day camp lets campers experience their relationship with God and fellow campers. The camp will be packed with fun and excitement including a mix of activities including crafts, beach time, and time with friends.
Junior Camp
Ages 9 - 12

This five day camp lets campers explore their relationship with God and fellow campers. The camp will be packed with fun and excitement including a mix of activities including archery, beach time, canoeing, crafts and time with friends.
Intermediate Camp
Ages 11 - 13

This five day camp lets campers explore their relationship with God and fellow campers. Developes your skills in outdoor cooking, canoeing and archery during this five day camp.
Senior Teen Camp
Ages 13-15
July 10 - 15, 2011
Cost: $200.00
This five day camp will be a challenging fun filled week of hanging out with your friends and learning new skills about the wilderness. For the second year, we will be offering drumming.
Family Discount
Each additional camper from the same household will pay $175.00. All campers registered and paid , will receive a free T-shirt. Please circle your size, Youth - S, M, L, Adult-S, M, L, or XL.
Can't Remember what to pack for camp?
Check this list:
Sleeping bag or 2 sheets, 3 blankets & pillow for a bunk bed
Toothbrush / Toothpaste
Soap, Shampoo, Towels, Washcloth, Brush / Comb
Sun screen lotion, insect repellent
Bathing Suit / Beach Towel
Daily change of clothes (warm/cool weather)
Rubber boots, Raincoat
Warm jacket for evening activities
Warm pyjamas (cabins are not heated/insulated)
Change of shoes/sandles
Hat
Flashlight / extra batteries
Bible, pen or pencil, & notebook
Good walking/hiking shoes & socks
Waterbottle
You may want to bring a camera, old blanket for campfires, or musical instruments.
Personal possessions should be clearly marked for identification.
DO NOT BRING TO CAMP:

(Candy is supplied by the camp! All other food will be taken away from campers and returned the day they leave)
× Cell phones, radios, tape decks, CD players, iPods, Mp3 Players
electronic games, money will be taken away from campers and returned when they leave.
