Canoeing
There are a number of canoes to take onto the lake under the supervision of our certified lifeguard and responsible counselors.

Archery
Have you ever shot a bow? If not, no worries! Our instructors will teach you all you need to know to safely shoot a bow and arrow.

Swimming
Our beach and floating dock provide a refreshing outdoor swimming escape from the heat of the summer on the beautiful Whitney Lake, supervised by a qualified lifeguard.
Summer Camp Activities
Below are some activities campers can participate in during their week exploring their relationship with God, nature and each other.

Paddle Boarding
There are a number of paddle boards to take onto the lake under the supervision of our certified lifeguard and responsible counselors.

Nature Walks
The many forests and trails surrounding Whitney Lake provides the perfect setting to take a walk in nature and learn about the native plant and animals who call Camp Whitney home.

Arts & Crafts
Head on down to the Craft Shack to write your name on the wall and get your creative juices flowing!

Singing
Singing songs is a huge part of camp life. Whether it be singing Oh Canada at the morning flag up ceremony, Johnny Appleseed to give thanks before a meal, Day is Done at the evening flag down ceremony or your favourite song around the campfire, there is always music in the air at camp.

God Chat
Further your relationship with God during daily God Chat where campers explore different bible verses with a local faith leader which emphasize friendship, teamwork, and inclusion.

Games & Sports
The wide open field is great for camp wide games such as Capture the Flag, baseball, soccer, and other camping favourites.

Themed Meals
Supper each night of camp has a unique them, creating a bit of extra fun!

Campfires
Weather permitting, each night campers gather for singing around the fire before bed.

Flag Up & Down
Each day the flags at the dining hall are raised in the morning and lowered at night to songs sung by the campers and staff.
