Are you planning a wedding? Are you a business looking to do some staff training? Are you looking to host a yoga retreat? Are you a big family seeking that perfect reunion spot?

Experience cozy camping accommodations along with the convenience of a fully equipped kitchen during your stay at Camp Whitney. Nestled in the heart of Alberta's Lakeland, our facilities provide a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for all guests to be able to enjoy their time in nature, with some comforts of home.

We can offer our camp to you in June, August or September ( July is dedicated to our Children's Camps ).

Dining Hall & Kitchen

The dining hall was newly constructed in 1994. It is heated and includes seating for up to 125 people, two gendered bathroom and shower facilities, and a fully equipped kitchen with fridge, gas stove, freezer and microwave.

Craft Shack

In 1972 The Windsor Salt Plant donated a 24' x 56' quonset that is fondly known as the Craft Shack. This building has power and benches and tables for seating, but is not heated.

Cabins

Two bunkhouses were constructed in 2015, each containing 5 cabins with bunkbeds. These bunkhouses have power and washroom facilities, but are not heated.

Rates

Full Property Package: $1000 per day

Dining Hall & Kitchen: $500 per day
Bunkhouses (each): $250 per day
Note: Customers must rent the Dining Hall and Kitchen

if they desire to rent one or both bunkhouses.

Other items

We have a waterfront too! Canoes, paddle boards, life jackets and other items used for our children's summer camps are also available for rent with approved documentation and supervision. Please contact us with your ideas, and we'll see how we might be able to accommodate your request. The worst we can say is "our insurance won't cover it!"

Outdoor area

There are multiple firepits surrounded by benches with a serene outdoor chapel to the left, a large multi-use grassy area surrounded by trees, and a beach with access to beautiful Whitney Lake and the surrounding trails to the right. Whitney Lake is great for swimming, canoeing, kayaking and paddle boarding.
