Responsibilities
Camp Counselors work directly with small groups of campers, sometimes with the assistance of another Counselor or Counselors in Training. They are responsible for the emotional, physical, and social needs of the campers in their care, and to ensure Camp Whitney is providing a rewarding experience for each camper. Counselors are expected to participate in all camp events, camp wide games and activities, and lead activities for small groups. Counselors are expected to spend the majority of their time with the campers under their care, such as sitting with their campers at meals and sleeping in the bunkhouses with the campers.
