We love the wild! Leave your phones at home at Camp Whitney. At our technology-free camp, staff trade screens for meaningful relationships, real conversations, and busy routines for purposeful days. You’ll mentor, lead, and grow alongside campers, building community, confidence, and unforgettable experiences without digital distractions.

Counselors in Training work with a Camp Counselor to take care of the emotional, physical and social needs of the campers in their care, and to ensure Camp Whitney is providing a rewarding experience for each camper. Counselors in training are expected to participate in all camp events, camp wide games and activities, and help their counselor to lead activities for small groups. Counselors in training are expected to spend the majority of their time with the campers under their care, such as sitting with their campers at meals and sleeping in the bunkhouses with the campers.
