30 hours per week

$16/hour - $18/hour depending on skills of applicant

Powered RV parking is included if the applicant would like to stay on site, and meals will be available during the regular summer camps in July. However, as long as the maintenance supervisor is available on an emergency as needed basis during summer camps and rentals they are free to stay offsite.

Communicate directly with the Board of Directors regarding all maintenance needs, rentals and camp dates to prepare for.  Perform and supervise other maintenance workers while doing general camp maintenance in and around beach areas, sports fields, bunkhouse accommodations, common areas, bathrooms, and campground sites. This includes mowing grass, weed management, brush removal, minor tree trimming, organizing camp materials, minor building maintenance, cleaning interiors of buildings, beach and grounds cleanup, and other general maintenance and fixing of camp property as required. Responsible for making sure the grounds and buildings are presentable before each rental, and cleaning up after each of the weeklong summer camps and private rentals throughout the summer. Organize and assist with fall cleanup before the camp is shut down for the season, under direction of the Board of Directors. Responsible for the delegation of tasks in a fair and equitable way between the maintenance team (consisting of volunteers and/or other employees), and for ensuring all required maintenance tasks are performed as required.
